1992

QWR Services Inc. (formerly Quality Wood Repair), was established in 1992 providing in- home furniture service for national retailers, regional retailers, and manufacturers.

1998

With the arrival of IKEA to Chicago in 1998 we were awarded the assembly contract for in-home assembly service. As we strengthened our relationship with IKEA we were asked to be part of their kitchen installation team in the Chicagoland area.

2002

When IKEA introduced a national kitchen installation program, we continued to grow with them. Our hard work and customer focus paid off, as we were eventually awarded a kitchen design and installation contract serving multiple markets. This new contract brought QWR Services to Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Florida, in addition to our home base in Illinois.

2016

The official partnership with IKEA ended in 2016, and although we still install the occasional IKEA kitchen when asked by our customers, this is the time we decided to evolve as a company and diversify our offer. We have since had the privilege of working with several different cabinet lines through various partnerships within the industry. We proudly install cabinets from a variety of sources, such as Wren Kitchens, Cabinets-To-Go, Reform CPH, Cliqstudios, and Embolden, just to name a few.

2025

Today, QWR continues to offer kitchen services in several key markets across the US. We are proud to be an active member of a broad and highly skilled network of designers, skilled craftsmen, and accomplished customer service professionals across the country.
